The Basic Tip Formula
The formula for calculating a tip is straightforward:
Tip = Bill Amount × (Tip Percentage / 100)
And the total you pay:
Total = Bill Amount + Tip
For example, if your restaurant bill is $65 and you want to leave a 20% tip:
